Field record
A massive, lumbering butterfly drags a trail of movie ticket stubs, forever yearning for the sky, yet doomed to wander here day after day. "Run away… but is escape even possible?"
In the field, Swallowtail is logged as a weekly boss encounter roaming Hethereau, and the Hunter Association files it under threat classification IV with prime clearance. Its poise is governed by the Nature stagger family, so leaning on matching damage breaks its balance bar fastest and opens the cleanest burst window. Each challenge of this fight spends 60 Stamina, so plan your runs around the daily cap. During the fight you can call on Mammon and Temporal Fish as automatic battle support when the conditions are met. Clearing it rewards loot drawn from the in-game sequence, detailed in the rewards table below.

Anomaly Story
The Swallowtail was first sighted near a certain school. Its form is that of a giant butterfly with vivid colors, composed of numerous paper fragments resembling movie ticket stubs. This makes it rather cumbersome, capable only of low-altitude flight. Despite this, Swallowtail seems to constantly attempt to fly higher, though it has never succeeded.
There are many theories about Swallowtail's origin. The most widely circulated comes from an urban legend:
There was once a girl at the school nicknamed "Butterfly." She was introverted and kept to herself, having no friends. Then one day, that quiet and reclusive girl suddenly made a new friend! They skipped classes together for an entire week, and during that time, the two were reportedly always watching movies at the cinema. Eventually, her parents could no longer tolerate this and locked her in her room, only allowing her out once she promised to stop skipping class. A few days later, when her parents opened the door, they found the window wide open, movie ticket stubs scattered across the empty room, and the girl nowhere to be found…
Most of this story has been verified as true, but it seems the girl never had a so-called "new friend". This new friend is speculated to be connected to the Anomaly's iconic movie ticket stubs: movies that provide viewers with illusions unbounded by reality. For some, a refuge from real life… The girl's life was mundane and unhappy. She was likely easily drawn to the dramatic highs and lows of movie plots, leading her to imagine a new friend who could help her escape reality while also reducing the guilt from her rebellious behavior.
The urban legend is incomplete, and the girl's whereabouts remain unknown. The only certainty is that her habit of collecting ticket stubs and immersing herself in the fictional worlds of movies gave birth to Swallowtail. Swallowtail's constant attempts to fly toward the sky are also believed to stem from the girl's wishes.
Anomaly Characteristics
Swallowtail has a cumbersome body and maintains low-altitude flight at all times.
Displays extreme aggression toward humans. Multiple witnesses claim to have seen Swallowtail kill passersby. However, no casualties have ever occurred at its sighting locations. It is speculated that Swallowtail possesses the ability to create illusions.
In fact, Swallowtail only causes real harm to those who attack it. Multiple Anomaly Hunters who attempted its nullification have been attacked, with severe cases even being life-threatening.
Shows clear fear of fire. Those who approach it while carrying flames will also receive its real attacks.
Anomaly Nexus
Burn the ticket stubs on its body.
Risk Assessment

Containment-Guarantee Status
It transforms into a single ticket stub upon containment, causing the main body to disappear. Therefore, it cannot be contained.
