Debt Collector
Boss

Base data
Field record
An Anomaly born from the theft of time. It erases the effects of stolen time and reclaims what was gained through deception. Even the once-mighty Constantine family was ultimately brought to ruin in pursuit of it. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."
In the field, Debt Collector is logged as a boss encounter, and the Hunter Association files it under threat classification IV with prime clearance. Its poise is governed by the Cosmos stagger family, so leaning on matching damage breaks its balance bar fastest and opens the cleanest burst window. Use the bestiary filters to compare it against the rest of the roster and plan your loadout.

Anomaly Story
When Dolores Constantine broke the ultimate taboo of life and death, bringing the dead back to life and avoiding her own death entirely, the "Debt Collector" manifested. To drag what should have remained dead back to the afterlife, the Debt Collector mercilessly hunted down the lives of Dolores and her machinations. Though the Constantine family managed to dodge fate once, they were unable to do so again. In the end, the Debt Collector drove the bygone Constantine family straight into ruin.
The Debt Collector is the embodiment of a Rule Anomaly with a single, crystal‑clear purpose: erase any consequences caused by those attempting to defy the natural order. In every case recorded, the Debt Collector's appearance is closely linked to the last matriarch of the Constantine family—Dolores Constantine. After Dolores used her Esper Ability to transfer the embers of her remaining life into a puppet, her drained lifespan should've ended then and there. But the Anomaly she held, "Eternal Present," shielded her life. That perverse act—the reversal of life and death, the theft of time—triggered the manifestation of the Debt Collector, which went on to relentlessly pursue the Constantine family. It's believed that the Debt Collector's ongoing attacks on its "Debtors" are its way of forcing the world back into its proper, natural timeline.
The Debt Collector itself appears as a humanoid figure wrapped in a dark cloak, with one hand replaced by a large glaive, and the other substituted with a heavy chain. Only the "Debtor" themselves, along with other Espers, can perceive the Debt Collector. It manifests at the same time every day to attack its Debtor. These attacks are usually not physical, but instead, metaphysical. That isn't to say it cannot also cause serious physical harm—if anyone interferes with the Debt Collector's collection process, it will utilize the blade and chains it is equipped with till the very end. Once suffering sufficient damage, or its given attack window closes, the Debt Collector temporarily vanishes. Current theory suggests that only by fulfilling its "Rule" and fully clearing any outstanding debt can the Debt Collector finally be nullified.
Anomaly Characteristics
· The Debt Collector appears as a humanoid entity draped in a dark cloak.
· It attacks "Debtors" who committed the highest sin: reversal of the natural order.
· Only the Debtor and other Espers can see this Anomaly.
· It cannot be entirely destroyed, only temporarily repelled.
Anomaly Nexus
The Debt recorded in the "Tally of Ages" is fully cleared.
Risk Assessment
Difficult to measure accurately. As a Rule Anomaly, it is almost impossible to eliminate via normal means, and can only be temporarily banished, making it extremely dangerous for the victim. On the other hand, it almost never poses a threat to anyone other than the Debtor.
