Anomaly Story

The Bureau of Anomaly Control has a myriad of tools at its disposal, and U-0734(Or) Chuppa is easily one of the more common ones. How this Bio Anomaly, which resembles a long-eared flying squirrel, manifested is strictly confidential. Compared to the Bureau's large workforce, usage rights for Chuppa are reserved for a small subset of personnel—aside from a few key staff in each department. Typically, Chuppa usage is limited to field agents like the Containment Strike Unit and the Enforcement Tactical Division, who work extensively with Anomalous Realms.

Normally, an Anomalous Realm blocks all regular communication signals. Chuppas, however, cut straight through any interference. When cleared to use Chuppa, you can summon it nearby at any time. Through the Chuppa, tone, voice, and cadence can all be replicated and transferred, with slight distortion occasionally occurring. Those who do not have personal access to a Chuppa can still interact with one summoned by someone else.

Regardless of when or where it's summoned, the Chuppa itself remains the same. Once dismissed, it disappears entirely. The science behind this phenomenon is deeply complex and an unnecessary tangent. Although classified as a Bio Anomaly, Chuppa behaves more like an Object Anomaly—it does not need food, has no fear, and works without complaint—to the point that it's rumored to be a BAC surveillance tool.

Experiment Records

"Abridged Research on Communication Capabilities of Anomaly: 'Chuppa' in Various Anomalous Realms"

……

Based on multiple experiments conducted on Chuppa's communication abilities in several Class V and lower Anomalous Realms, our conclusions are:

1. Chuppa can establish communication within the vast majority of known Anomalous Realms. However, in higher-level Anomalous Realms, the Chuppa's "signal" is subject to stronger interference, affecting both the quality and speed of its communication.

2. Despite being a Bio Anomaly, Chuppa exhibits almost no instinctive biological behavior. Even in Anomalous Realms that negatively affect biological beings, the Chuppa remains unaffected.

3. There are dedicated usage hours for the Chuppa: during business hours, casual Chuppa usage is strictly prohibited.
