Anomaly Story

On clear, cloudless nights, twinkling stars will be reflected onto the ocean's surface. However, observers may notice that any alteration in the sky that veils the stars will not be similarly reflected in the water's surface. Instead, the 'stars' in the ocean mirroring those in the sky may not be 'stars' at all.

Once night falls, you might occasionally spot tiny "starlings" drifting up and down on a water's surface, giving off a faint, blue glow. This phenomenon is actually a Bio Anomaly of near microscopic scale. These Bio Anomalies only become clearly visible when clustered together on the surface of a body of water. Typically, the relative positions and luminosity of these clusters align perfectly with the night sky's constellations overhead, forming something akin to a star chart on the water's surface. Because of this, the Anomaly has been deemed: "Aqua Astra".

The lifespan of a single Aqua Astra is incredibly short, often only lasting one night before undergoing natural nullification.

When the moon sets and the sun begins to rise, the glow of the Aqua Astra begins to fade. Observation and documentation suggest that Aqua Astra does not affect any other lifeforms in the same body of water it inhabits. As of right now, the only noted effect of Aqua Astra is to reflect the night sky on a surface of water.

Anomaly Characteristics

· Aqua Astra is an aquatic Bio Anomaly, with sightings recorded across multiple natural bodies of water of various sizes. As of now, Aqua Astra has not been observed in small artificial pools such as open-air swimming pools or storage tanks.

· A single Aqua Astra persists for only one night before undergoing spontaneous nullification.

· Each Aqua Astra cluster imitates a different constellation. There has been no noted documentation on how these clusters determine which constellation to replicate.

Anomaly Nexus

Automatically nullifies after sunrise.

Risk Assessment

Harmless.

Containment Status:

Since Aqua Astra will nullify itself after a set period, no method has been found to fully contain it or trigger early nullification.

Containment Procedures:

No containment procedures required.
