Farming routes & ascension planning

Plan efficient resource loops so your Espers ascend without dead-end material gaps.

In-game sourced

Steady progress in Neverness to Everness comes from farming with a plan instead of grinding whatever is in front of you. Ascension consumes specific materials, so a short weekly route saves far more time than random roaming around Hethereau.

Build the route backward

Start from the Esper you want to ascend next and list the materials its breakpoints require. Group those drops by where they spawn, then sketch a loop that hits each zone once. Planning backward from your goal stops you from over-farming common materials while you starve on the rare ones.

A repeatable loop

  1. Clear your daily activity sources first, since they often give the highest-value currencies.
  2. Run open-world material nodes along a single travel path rather than fast-traveling back and forth.
  3. Finish with one targeted enemy farm for the ascension item your next breakpoint needs.

Stockpile with intent

Keep a small buffer of ascension materials for the two Espers you actually play, not your whole roster. Hold premium upgrade items until a build is finalized so you are not refunding progress later.

Energy discipline

Spend daily stamina on the bottleneck material, never on overflow you already have stacked. A focused farmer ascends a full party long before a scattered one finishes a single Esper.
