How to use the Esper database

Read Esper records, compare elements and roles, and plan your trio with the database.

In-game sourced

The Esper database is a browsable catalog of every Esper in Neverness to Everness. Each record collects the details you need to decide whether an Esper belongs in your party of three.

What a record shows you

  • Element: one of the six on the Esper Cycle (Incantation, Chaos, Anima, Cosmos, Psyche, Lakshana).
  • Role: how the Esper is meant to be played, such as front-line attacker, support, or sustain.
  • Stats and attributes: base values and what scales as you ascend the unit.
  • Gear notes: which Arcs, Cartridges, and Modules pair well.

Browse by taxonomy, not just by name

The fastest way to plan is to filter. Open the element pages to see every Esper of a given element side by side, then cross-reference roles. If your trio is missing a healer or a Cosmos attacker, the role and element filters surface candidates immediately.

Use it to settle in-game decisions

Before spending materials, pull up the record for the Esper you intend to invest in and confirm its role matches a gap in your party. Compare two similar units directly so you commit upgrade resources to the one that fits your team rather than the one you happened to get first. Treat the database as your planning bench: decide on paper, then execute in Hethereau.
