Dimension Visitor

R-4321[Ob] "Dimension Visitor" is, in essence, an ancient nautical astrolabe. Beyond locating physical directions such as north, south, east, and west, as well as the positions of stars in the cosmos, it possesses a strange ability: it can point toward where the heart belongs, the path to hidden treasure, those with potential, and more. The ancient astrolabe was kept in an equally ancient hidden village. The villagers used it and worshiped it, yet they never spoke of it to outsiders, nor did they use its power for immoral ends. Grateful for their kindness, it formed a contract with the villagers and granted them long lives.

Those peaceful days lasted until word of the "long-lived village" eventually reached the outside world. Rumors grew and spread until the villagers were forced to leave their home and become trapped in a cruel "game." Tragically, the village's already scarce bloodline was completely extinguished in that game, and the organizers were disappointed to discover that they truly were only ordinary people who lived a little longer. Realizing that everything they had done had been meaningless, the powerful complained and walked away. Dimension Visitor was left adrift amid this undeserved chaos. Yet to the very end, everyone still prayed to it and protected their shared secret. Dimension Visitor felt confusion, bewilderment, and endless loneliness. But how was it supposed to process emotions that "should have belonged to humans"? Unfortunately, the astrolabe could not point the way to its own future. Thus, it developed a desire to "escape," giving birth to the Anomalous Realm known as the Corridor of Echoes.

Taking on the appearance of its last contract bearer, Dimension Visitor has wandered for ages at the entrance to the Corridor of Echoes, fulfilling the astrolabe's original purpose: speaking with every visitor likewise drowned in the past and guiding them toward "escape." The present no longer exists, and even the future will someday become the past. Perhaps in this way, it can forever keep the contractors it once knew, and the kind people who live on in its memories.

Its true form is an ancient nautical astrolabe with a strange ability to form contracts with people and grant them long life.

After all of its contract bearers passed away, the astrolabe was left adrift. It eventually took on the appearance of its final contractor and began wandering the entrance to the Corridor of Echoes, an Anomalous Realm born from its will.

It speaks with every visitor similarly lost in the past and guides them toward "escape."
